From June 4th to June 7th, 2024, the four-day Taipei International Computer Show (COMPUTEX 2024) grandly opened, attracting over 40000 international buyers to visit and purchase in Taiwan, becoming a new stage for global technology resource integration. The theme of this exhibition is "AI Connectivity, Creating the Future Together", covering six major fields including artificial intelligence computing, forward communication, future mobility, immersive reality, green energy sustainability, and innovation.

2024 is defined as the year of AI, as AI officially moves from the cloud to the consumer end, with a variety of AI PC and mobile terminal products blooming. With the wave of the first year of AI, it has attracted about 1500 domestic and foreign technology manufacturers from 36 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition.
The biggest highlight of COMPUTEX 2024 is the gathering of almost all PC upstream technology giants and their leaders, including AMD-CEO Su Zifeng, Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun, Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger, and MediaTek Vice Chairman and CEO Cai Lixing.

NVIDIA AMD chip 'explosion'

On the first day of the 2024 Taipei International Computer Show, NVIDIA showcased its comprehensive ecosystem in its keynote speech, including a thriving developer community, a large number of optimized applications, and a diverse portfolio of chips, systems, network solutions, and professional technologies.
Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun emphasized that the company is committed to continuously improving its artificial intelligence accelerator, with a focus on reducing costs and energy demand, and adding new tools and software models for annual upgrades. CEO Huang Renxun's virtual image and voice cloning were showcased in the keynote speech, showcasing the capabilities of Nvidia GPUs in providing up to trillions of operations per second.
At this event, NVIDIA launched a pre trained artificial intelligence model called NVIDIA Inference Microservice (NIM), which integrates cloud native technologies such as CUDA, QDNN, TensorRT, and Triton to support enterprise data centers and cloud service providers.

AI server outsourcing companies enter a golden period of development

One of the highlights of this exhibition is the AI semiconductor used in data center servers, which is indispensable for generative AI. Huang Renxun stated on the 2nd that after officially shipping the new generation of products within 2024, he plans to launch new products in 2025 and 2026. Nvidia holds 80% of the global market share in this field, leaving its competitors behind.
Intel and AMD released a new generation of products for data centers on the 3rd and 4th. Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger announced a new product for server CPUs (central processing units) in a speech on the 4th, and stated that he will combine the new product with his own AI semiconductor to promote and popularize it together.
Like semiconductors for data centers, semiconductors for computers are also receiving significant attention. Each company has launched semiconductors that support the new AI feature "Copilot+PC" developed by Microsoft in the United States.
The American research firm IDC predicts that by 2027, the market size of AI computers will exceed 167 million units, more than three times that of 2024, and the AI wave will begin to sweep across the globe.
Driven by the AI boom, the demand for AI servers in the market has shown explosive growth, and AI server outsourcing companies have also ushered in a golden period of development. Among numerous OEM enterprises, companies such as Hon Hai Precision, Wistron, Weying, and Industrial Fulian have become leaders in this field with their strong technological strength and market influence.

The Development and Opportunities of AI Server Outsourcing Enterprises

AI server outsourcing companies have ushered in unprecedented development opportunities. On the one hand, with the widespread application of AI technology, the demand for AI servers in the market continues to grow, bringing abundant order resources to OEM enterprises; On the other hand, contract manufacturers have accumulated rich technical experience and market reputation by participating in the design and manufacturing of AI servers, enhancing their competitiveness.
As a supplier of overall solutions for smart logistics, AstraZeneca has planned and implemented multiple smart logistics solutions for these AI server leading OEM enterprises, and helped Industrial Fulian and Wistron successfully be selected for the World Economic Forum's Lighthouse Factory list. The Industrial Fulian AI Server Factory was also named the world's first AI server lighthouse factory in 2023.

In short, under the AI boom, AI outsourcing companies such as Foxconn Precision, Wistron, Weying, and Industrial Fulian are rapidly rising with their strong technological strength and market influence. In the future, these enterprises will continue to leverage their own advantages to promote the development of the AI server industry and make greater contributions to the prosperity of China's artificial intelligence industry.
